## Give to help students start the school year ready to learn

Every year, Mercy Housing Northwest's Back-to-School celebrations help students begin the school year with confidence. Before the first day of class, students and families gather at our communities to receive backpacks, school supplies, connect with staff, and learn about programs that support their success throughout the year.

Last year, thanks to your generosity, we distributed more than 1,000 backpacks filled with school supplies to students living in Mercy Housing Northwest communities. But those backpacks are just the beginning. They provide an opportunity for families to connect with our Youth in School Liaison staff, Mercy Scholars programs, Out-of-School-Time activities, and a network of support that helps students thrive throughout the school year.

As we prepare for another school year, we want to ensure every student living in a Mercy Housing Northwest community has all the resources they need to succeed in the upcoming school year.
